19 June, 1917, age 23, address, 20 Beach Street, Bare Morecambe, employed White Cross Mills, and the Dog and Partridge Hotel, Bare.  Younger son of Mr & Mrs John T Airey.


His brother Corporal John Ernest Airey (25) 18th Hussars, died of fever in Egypt 23rd November 1917, another brother, 2nd Lieutenant T Airey, Australian Imperial Force, has been wounded and is in Wandsworth Hospital.


Deceased's fiancée is Miss McBride, 28, Nun Street, Lancaster.
